LPI Linux Certification in a Nutshell, 3rd Edition is much more concentrated on the LPIC-1 Certification rather than its predecessor which included LPIC-1 and LPIC-2. Times are difficult, but people tend to understand the value of LPI Certification. Although LPIC-2 attracts less attention, the LPIC-1 is the dominant player in GNU/Linux certifications globally. O'Reilly seems to give much importance to this so refined and updated the LPIC manual according to the market demands. For those who would like to go on to the next level though, 2nd Edition is still available. Very good hands on guidances for the LPIC candidate.
